Food tips for hikers

Plan your meals carefully to the day as menu with your trekking friends. Agree that on Monday morning you will be A and B to Eat breakfast, C for lunch, D and E for the dinner, and on Tuesday, you eat, X, Y and Z and so on. If you prefer porridge for breakfast, not carry the whole heavy metal, but measure the required amount and carry it in a zip-lock bag or plastic. Bypass, canned food, as this only add to your own weight . Pack Be realistic about the amount of rice per person will eat each day and carry only the required amount of rice, dhal, onions and potatoes. Carry an extra Days of rations for emergencies, when you go from an uninhabited area. Participate in dried fruit. It is the light and gives you lots of energy.

TIPS
If possible, carry dehydrated food to cook it as easy and simple. Dehydrated peas are readily available and you can make your own dehydrated onions, potatoes and tomato finely cut them and dry them in the summer before your hike (remember not to try this in wet weather). You can also do the same with Curry / Dhania leaves.
